Dollywood FAQ's

Where exactly is Dollywood, and how do I get there?
Dollywood is located in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, 35 miles southeast of Knoxville, off I-40 at Exit 407. Please see our Location Information section for a map of the area.

Can I pay admission prices with a personal check? What about a credit card?
You can pay by personal check, however a current driver's license is required. You may also pay by Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and Cash.

What discounts are available?
Our "After 3:00 Next Day FREE" program allows you to enter Dollywood's Splash Country after 3:00 PM and return all day the next operating day FREE. This program is valid on one-day Dollywood's Splash Country admission tickets May 21, 2005 through September 17, 2005. Parking fees are not included.

Do you have group rates?
Yes, we offer group rates for groups of 15 or more. Our group reservation number is 865-428-9890. Groups must make reservations at least 14 days in advance in order to receive one (1) complimentary ticket per fifteen (15) paid.

Are pets allowed on park?
Although pets are not permitted inside Dollywood, our one-of-a-kind kennel, Doggywood™, is available for the convenience of our guests and their dogs. Service animals for guests with disabilities are allowed inside Dollywood.

Doggywood™, a one-of-a-kind, climate-controlled indoor dog care facility, opened November 9, 2002. This brand new kennel is built in the style of a rustic Smoky Mountain cabin. For owners who really want to “pamper their pooch,” four cottages are available for $30 a day, or smaller kennels are available for $7. (Prices do not include tax.)

The daily rental fee provides each dog its own water supply, and a walk area is located adjacent to the building so owners can spend time with their pets without having to leave the park. Do you have a smoking policy at Dollywood?
Yes. If you smoke, please utilize the many designated smoking areas. Smoking is strictly forbidden on all rides, queue lines, indoor theaters, attractions, shops and restaurants. 

Do I have to pay to park?
Yes, $6 for all standard length vehicles, $9 for oversize length vehicles such as RVs and trailers, and a tram will take you to the front gate. However, parking is FREE if you purchase a Dollywood Gold Season Pass.
